Ayanna Jahneé is a singer from Nashville, Tennessee who was a contestant on Season 10 of The Voice. She is a member of Team Christina.
Background[]
Twenty-year-old Ayanna got her love of music from her mother, who not only had a degree in music, but also worked as a singer and a seamstress. Ayanna grew up performing in every school show and musical, always wearing costumes made by her mom. Her world, however, came to a halt in 6th grade when her mother tragically passed away after a two-year battle with cervical cancer. After her mother's passing, Ayanna moved in with her cousins and turned to music to help her cope with her grief. When she graduated high school, she took off for Columbia College Chicago to study vocal performance, and is ready to wow the coaches this season.
