Courtney Harrell is a contestant on Season 11 of S11voice, and a member of Team Blake. Her blind audition of the James Bay song "Let It Go" turned two chairs.

She was eliminated in the Top 10 round after she fell into the Bottom Three, and did not receive enough Instant Save votes to be saved, being eliminated alongside fellow Team Blake member Austin Allsup, instead of Aaron Gibson.

Bio[]

From 2005-09, Courtney worked as a music teacher for the Boston school district while balancing motherhood. After her contract ended, a producer friend asked for her help to write a song for Chris Brown, sparking her move from Boston to L.A. to become a professional songwriter. Since moving to L.A., Courtney has written for Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo, Brandy, Mary J. Blige, and briefly toured as a background singer for John Legend. Her son is now 20 and it's finally her time to shine.
