Fousheé was a contestant on The Voice Season 15 and a member of Team Adam. Her blind audition of the Childish Gambino song "Redbone" turned two chairs. Fousheé’s grandfather was a Congolese descent who moved to Jamaica in the beginning of 20th century. Her mother was the drummer in a Jamaican all-female reggae band called PEP.
Before The Voice[]
"Fousheé lives in Harlem and is part of the house band at Cafe Wha?, where Jimi Hendrix was discovered. She got her love of music from her mom, who introduced her to music early on. After starting college, Fousheé was driving with her mom when a drunk driver hit them. Her mom was rushed into emergency brain surgery and lost her job soon after. Fousheé decided to leave college and move home to help. With her mom in a better place now, Fousheé is ready to switch her focus back to music."
