Chairs Turned

Genesis Diaz is a contestant currently competing on The Voice Season 14 as a member of Team Adam. Her blind audition of Kesha's song "Praying" turned two chairs.
She was eliminated in the Battle Rounds after losing her battle against Mia Boostrom.
Before The Voice[]
"Genesis comes from a musical family. Her mom was a singer, songwriter and guitar teacher, while her dad played a variety of instruments. When they left Cuba for Miami, her parents were unable to pursue music full-time. Genesis carried on the family's talents, landing a job singing in a country band at 13. Genesis soon realized her love for other music genres beyond country and continued booking gigs at local events and restaurants. After high school, Genesis began recording her own Spanish-language pop music and has been promoting her artistry online."
