- Huntley had done something Will Champlin couldn't do when he was the only male singer left among female finalists: upstage them all to win The Voice.
- He is the second contestant to be among a group of finalists different from his gender and still win The Voice. The first was Maelyn Jarmon when she upstaged all the males in the top 4. In Huntley's case, it was all the females in the top 5.
- He is the first male to win a season of The Voice with the four digit in the ones place. Danielle had won in season 4 and Brynn had won in season 14, both of whom were females.
- His win in season 24 helped his coach Niall Horan win back-to-back seasons. Gina Miles had previously help him win in the preceding season.
