Chairs Turned
|
Ignatious Carmouche is a contestant on The Voice Season 13 and a member of Team Jennifer. His blind audition of the Disclosure song "Latch" turned two chairs.
He was eliminated in the Battle Rounds after losing his battle against Eric Lyn.
He is best notable for winning the Snapchat Competition in Season 12, which allowed him the opportunity to audition for Season 13.
Before The Voice[]
"Ignatious is last season's "The Voice on Snapchat" winner. In January of this year, Ignatious submitted a video of himself singing "Pretty Wings" by Maxwell. Never in a million years did he think he'd make it, but out of 20,000 submissions he ended up winning with Team Adam, and was granted a chance to audition for the Season 13 Blind Auditions, and ended up on Team Jennifer. Ignatious grew up in a very religious household, which is why he grew up singing in church. Being a shy kid, he would sing with his back toward the congregation, but as he got older his confidence grew. He eventually started playing the piano and alto saxophone, and finally took singing seriously. Late last year, he got his ministry license and co-founded his own music ministry. Ignatious is ready to show the world the power of his vocals outside of the church by appearing on The Voice."
