Chairs Turned
|
Ilianna Viramontes is a contestant on The Voice Season 13 and a member of Team Miley. Her blind audition of the Yael Naïm song "New Soul" turned two chairs.
She was eliminated in the Battle Rounds after losing her battle against Chloe Kohanski.
Before The Voice[]
"Ilianna's father is an FBI agent, so she and her family move around constantly. However, the one constant in her life has been music. Growing up, Ilianna couldn't dedicate all of her time to music because she was busy with her other passions, including gymnastics and cheerleading. When she got to high school, she made varsity cheerleading, but eventually realized she wasn't cheery enough to be a cheerleader. Instead, Ilianna joined the school choir to pursue her music passion full time. The choir performed at Carnegie Hall, which convinced her to take music more seriously. With her newfound determination, Ilianna missed her high school graduation to be on The Voice. She is hoping the show gives her the opportunity to jump start her music career."
