Chairs Turned

Jacquie Lee is the runner-up of Season 5 of The Voice, being part of Team Christina.

Despite only turning two chairs in the Blinds, Jacquie quickly made her mark in the competition in the Battle Rounds, impressing all the coaches in "The House of the Rising Sun"; she advanced to the Knockouts, where she once again impressed, this time with a rendition of Serena Ryder's "Stompa", easily defeating Anthony Paul and making it to the Live Playoffs. There, she closed out the round with a stunning performance of "I Put a Spell on You" that earned her a standing ovation from all four coaches, and cemented her place as a frontrunner and serious threat to the crown. She continued to advance through the rounds while performing a mix of rock, blues and pop songs, never getting close to being eliminated.

In the Semifinals, she earned her first iTunes bonus of the season with her a softer performance of Sarah McLachlan's "Angel", and advanced to the finals, with Tessanne Chin being her only direct competition for the crown of the season. She showed improvement from her audition with a reprise of "Back to Black", and closed out her run with "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going", being forever remembered as one of the most consistent artists of the history of The Voice despite being barely edged out by Tessanne Chin in the final rounds of the season.
