Kelsea Johnson is a contestant currently competing on The Voice Season 14 as a member of Team Alicia. Her blind audition of the Meghan Trainor song "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" turned three chairs.
She was eliminated in the Live Playoffs after she fell into the bottom 4 for her team. Her coach chose to save Christiana Danielle, eliminating her, Terrence Cunningham, and Johnny Bliss.
Before The Voice[]
"Kelsea gets her love of music from her Puerto Rican grandfather. He was in a band, sang mariachi and even wrote a book of songs. Her grandfather was diagnosed with liver cancer and passed away before seeing Kelsea on "The Voice" stage. Through this hardship, Kelsea stayed focused on school, graduated with excellent grades and was awarded a scholarship to Stony Brook University in New York. Kelsea graduated in three years with a degree in psychology and sociology, and now she's ready to fully embrace her music."
