Before The Voice[]
"Lela is first generation Colombian-American. Her parents were professional athletes in Colombia but moved to the United States to escape the violent political climate there. Currently, Lela is a sophomore in high school and spends every minute outside of school at a musical conservatory. She has been able to combine her Latin roots with the modern R&B sound she loves by performing in both English and Spanish. Performing is all she's ever wanted to do and she's hoping her hard work pays off on "The Voice" stage.."
