Mercedes Ferreira-Dias was a contestant on The Voice Season 15 and a member of Team Blake. Her blind audition of the Sara Bareilles song "She Used to Be Mine" turned two chairs.
Before The Voice[]
"Mercedes is excited to finally make it on "The Voice" after auditioning for Season 14. Since her audition, she has been performing as much as possible by singing at local events. In her spare time, she teaches music to kids, but it's hard to balance music with her demanding school schedule. Her parents immigrated from Venezuela seeking a better life, so academics are very important to her and her family. Mercedes is at the top of her class, but she wants to see if music is a viable option for her before applying to colleges."
