Molly Stevens is a contestant currently competing on The Voice Season 14 as a member of Team Kelly. Her blind audition of the Patty Griffin song "Heavenly Day" turned two chairs.
She was eliminated in the Battle Rounds after losing her battle against Justin Kilgore.
Before The Voice[]
"Molly grew up singing on her grandfather's radio and TV show. For almost 10 years, she performed alongside her grandfather, Jimmy Waters, who was a well-known Baptist preacher. After college, Molly overcame a personal struggle and finally told her parents that she is gay. She moved to Nashville to pursue music but feared a label would never sign her because of her sexuality. After gaining some musical acclaim, Molly felt comfortable coming out and was embraced by the community. She now lives in Raleigh with her fiancée, Ashlee, and gigs all around the Southeast."
