Background

Morgan had big dreams of playing professional baseball and was headed in that direction until he suffered a serious elbow. His led him to pursue his other passion, singing, and he's on The Voice to inspire others to never give up.

The Voice

20-year-old Morgan Wallen auditioned for The Voice with Howie Day's "Collide" impressing Shakira and Usher. Morgan chose Usher after he called his voice "unique" and offered constructive criticism. In the first Battle Rounds, Morgan was paired against Brothers Walker to sing Avicii's "Hey Brother". Usher told him he had an incredible voice, and chose him to advance to the second Battle Rounds.
