Kayla choose Usher after he called his voice "unique" and offered constructive criticism. In the first Battle Rounds, Morgan was paired against Bella Marie Gutierrez to sing Greenday's " American Idiot". Polly told her she has an incredible voice, and choose her to advance to the second Battle Rounds.
