Chairs Turned
|
Stephanie Skipper was a contestant who competed on The Voice Season 14 as a member of Team Adam. Her blind audition of the Kelly Clarkson song "Piece by Piece" turned two chairs.
She was eliminated in the Battle Rounds after losing her battle against Jackie Verna.
Before The Voice[]
"Stephanie dedicated her career to music until her college band broke up and she stopped performing. Two years later, at a local Battle of the Bands competition, Stephanie noticed there was an opening on the roster. Setting her hesitations aside, she entered and won the whole thing. The prize was the opportunity to play with TobyMac, who eventually signed her to his label. After moving to Nashville, Stephanie met her husband, Tim, at the label and they left to form their own duo, CopperLily. In an effort to find stability, Tim took a job at a radio show, abruptly ending the duo's success. Stephanie is hoping "The Voice" will help her bring the focus back to her solo career."
